Welcome to my website!

I was born in Cuneo, in the north west of Italy, and I can’t imagine another place I would prefer to live.

I like travelling and visiting countries before tourists invade them. For this reason I haven’t visited  Europe, but I have visited Asia, Africa , Centre and South America.

With each trip I try to gratify my  thirst for knowledge, and my endless curiosity of the world around me.  

I practise two sports, they allow me to spend my weekends in the open air in contact with nature. In winter I like skiing and, in summer I love sailing. 

My hobbies are computers and photography. With the arrival of the of digital age, I could combine the two. And together they help me in post-production when it is necessary. 

Photography is a hobby that I cultivated for years, since 1980 when I bought my first SLR. 

In 1992 I began to use the video camera, and I made some films with my husband. 

In 2002 I couldn’t resist attraction of digital photography and I began again. 

It took me a long time to make  this website, because all the materials about trips pre 2002 are on slide or film, so, evening after evening, I transfer my photos onto the computer. 

With my website I want to show the photos about the best places in the world, to help people about to leave not to forget any. 

There’s only one way to take good pictures: have a discreet presence and respect the people and the place you are visiting. Taking photographs during a trip helps us  to be less aggressive and less destructive in the countries where we are guest.. 

Life is a journey, a traveller lives twice.
